LVI-numbers are seven-digit identification numbers for HVAC and plumbing products sold in Finland. They are used to identify products throughout the industry supply chain, from designers to end users. LVI-INFO maintains the product database.
As a customer of LVI-INFO.fi, your products will be included in the database, which provides up-to-date and impartial product information quickly and easily to professionals in the building services industry.
LVI-INFO’s service is used by HVAC industry professionals, including manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, designers, and contractors.

Why comprehensive product information is important when applying for a new LVI-number?
When an LVI-number is assigned to a product, it is essential that the product information is given as comprehensively and accurately as possible. Well-documented product data ensures that the product can be easily identified and selected throughout the entire building services supply chain, from designers and contractors to end users.

Pricing
The annual fee for LVI-INFO.fi is based on the number of products registered by the customer in the database. Prices are excluding VAT.
Fewer than 20 products: fixed minimum fee of €175.18 (€9.22 × 19 products).
20–2000 products: pricing is based on a unit price that decreases proportionally as the number of products increases.
2001–6000 products: the unit price decreases linearly.
More than 6000 products: the pricing curve becomes even more gradual, and the unit price decreases further relative to the increase in product volume.
Invoicing:
The annual fee is invoiced based on the number of products registered on the last day of January. Invoices are sent during February. If the number of products in the LVI-INFO.fi database increases significantly during the beginning of the year, the difference will be invoiced in June.
