Our services
LVI-INFO guides and advises its customers for free on the management of LVI-numbers, as well as on questions related to product data. You can reach us by phone and email on weekdays between 8:00 and 16:00.
We also provide product data updates and an interface service for transferring product data.
Product data management
If you find yourself short of time, you can fully outsource the task of updating product data in the LVI-INFO.fi database to us.
We take care of the updates for you and ensure that all essential product information is available for your products, such as technical data (ETIM), attachments (images, user manuals, environmental product declarations), and packaging information.
Interface for product data transfer
An API interface (Application Programming Interface) is a method by which software systems communicate with each other. It defines what data can be requested or sent, how a request is made, and what kind of response it receives. Data transfer implemented through an API interface reduces manual input errors and saves time.
Utilise the product data contained in the LVI-INFO.fi product database directly in your own business
We offer interface agreements for HVAC industry stakeholders. LVI-INFO product data can be widely utilised through interfaces for different purposes. Users include wholesalers, contractors, developers, and HVAC designers. Software companies can use the product data, for example, in HVAC design, documentation, enterprise resource planning, quantity take-off, and procurement systems. Building services companies use the data in maintenance, and wholesalers and contractors can use it in their online stores and product catalogues.
How LVI-INFO's customers can use the interface
The API write interface, which can be used to add or update product information directly in the LVI-INFO database, is included in the LVI-number annual fee. Use of the write interface requires an API key that is linked to a personal user account in the LVI-INFO database.
Data for your own products that have an associated LVI-number can be freely retrieved via the API read interface. The retrieved data can be used, for example, to maintain product listings on your own website or product information in an online store. In API requests, data is identified using Product Information Standard field codes and ETIM codes.
