Where can I get help opening LVI-numbers?
The user guides provide instructions on how to create LVI-numbers, archive them, and update product information. You can also always contact our customer service by phone or email.
How long does it take to obtain a new LVI-number?
If the LVI-number application has been completed correctly and includes all required information, it is usually approved within 1 to 3 business days.
Can an LVI-number be changed or reused?
No. If the product information changes significantly, a new LVI-number must be applied for. Archived LVI-numbers cannot be reused for new products.
How do I know when a product requires a new LVI-number?
If the product’s technical specifications change to such an extent that it no longer corresponds to the original product, a completely new LVI-number must be applied for. If you are unsure whether your product needs a new LVI-number, please contact our customer service.
Can I reactivate an archived LVI-number?
Yes, if the product’s technical specifications have remained unchanged. You can reactivate an archived LVI-number via the Reactivation basket.
Can I browse products in LVI-INFO.fi without registering for the service?
Product information for HVAC products can be browsed using the search on the homepage. Products can be searched by product name or LVI-number. The advanced search helps you find products, for example by brand or product series.
Does LVI-INFO provide training?
We provide training in Finnish and English free of charge.
