Access rights

LVI-INFO.fi database provides three different user access levels: administrator, editor, and viewer.

Company’s employee can also apply for user credentials independently if the company is already a customer of LVI-INFO.fi. The credentials will be sent to the applicant’s personal email address.

Apply for user credentials

Administrator:

  • A company can have only one administrator.
  • The administrator manages all company user accounts and grants new user permissions.
  • The administrator can create LVI-numbers for products and edit and archive products.
  • The administrator is responsible for the company’s customer and billing information and user permissions.

Editor:

  • A company can have multiple users with editor rights.
  • An editor can create LVI-numbers for products and edit and archive products.

Viewer (restricted access):

  • A viewer has restricted access: they can only search for and list products.
  • The search for company’s own products has more extensive search criteria available than the publicly accessible search.
  • A viewer cannot create LVI-numbers for products, nor edit or archive products.
  • A viewer can download product data with the Product Information Standard and apply precise search filters.
  • This access level is typically used, for example, by wholesale product managers and companies’ technical specialists.

Contact person:

  • The contact person is the person responsible for the company’s invoicing.
  • Their name is input as the reference on the annual invoice.
  • The contact person does not have access rights to the LVI-INFO.fi database.
